Review: 2022 Volkswagen Golf R (Manual) – Overhyped?

I spend a week with the all-new 2022 Volkswagen Golf R with a manual transmission to see what it’s like to live with. How my feelings developed over the week actually surprised me. The 2022 Golf R has a lot of great improvements like more power, a brand new torque-vectoring AWD system with a Drift mode and an active exhaust. But do all these things add up to an exciting driving experience? Yes and no for me. What do you think about the MK8 Golf R? Thanks to Volkswagen for providing this vehicle to review!
